Theon Lake is a Night's Watch recruit, living in Castle Black.
History[]
Theon was born in 490 AC, secondborn of the Lake House.
He spent his early childhood reading bestiaries and books about the Kingdoms' history and, at the age of three and ten, he began practicing with the sword.
Seeing the sly and sometimes cruel actions that minor nobles, such as his family, did to gain the favor of major houses, Theon developed a hatred for all the nobles that ruled the Kingdoms and for the schemings that the houses plan aiming for the throne.
Because of this, he decided to do what he believed was more useful: joining the Night's Watch to defend the Kingdoms.

Around the end of 510 AC, Theon reaches Castle Black and joins the Night's Watch.
Eighth era[]
In 511 AC's first month, Theon finds a snowy owl chick in the woods near The Wall, names it Freewing and sends it to a messenger bird trainer.
