Ben, also known as Tanglefoot, was a member of the Burning Hand's Men. Across the right side of his face was a winestain birthmark which brought him shame since birth.

First Era[]
Ben was a farmer from Poddingfield, sworn to Lord Peasebury. He and his brothers were called off to war when Harris Baratheon rallied his banners.
Second Era[]
Ben was saved from a painful death at the hands of Lannister soldiers by Alester Targaryen. From that moment onward he pledged to join Alester's cause, and became a member of the Burning Hand's Men.
Third Era[]
Ben was killed by Lannister soldiers led by Arthur Swyft when the Burning Hand's Men were attacked at Oldstone.
