Lady Jeyne Buckler is the youngest daughter of Lord Selwyn of Tarth and the twin sister of Quentyn Tarth of the Kingsguard. She is currently married to the Lord Balon Buckler and has two children who just so happen to be her and her brother's spitting images.

Recent History[]

Second Era[]

Jeyne's twin brother, Ser Quentyn of Tarth was appointed to King Damon Lannister's Kingsguard. Jeyne took the separation from her brother rather poorly. The twins had a secret romantic history.

Fifth Era[]

Jeyne arranged the marriage of her son to Lady Alysane Roger's daughter. The two Ladies were close friends.

Eighth Era[]

Following the Tourney at Blackhaven, Jeyne returned to Evenfall Hall with her brother, Endrew Tarth, to visit her dying father and mourn her nephew, Durran Dondarrion, amongst family.

Whilst back on Tarth, Jeyne continously attempted to keep the peace between first the father and son, her nephew Simon and brother Endrew. She then found herself put in the middle of her brothers, Endrew and Galladon, in their argument on who House Tarth should support in the rising hostilities. She attempted to explain to Galladon that they had to go to Alyn Connington's funeral because Orys was not an enemy they could afford to make. She was surprised when Endrew took the extra step of placing Galladon under house arrest after agreeing with Jeyne.

The night of Alyn's funeral, Jeyne assisted Simon Tarth in sending a warning to House Dondarrion, regarding Orys' intentions for war, by distracting Griffin's Roost's maester whilst Simon snuck into the ravenry. She later took on her nephew as her personal sworn sword, helping him once again when he was going to be forced into marching off to war for Orys by Endrew. Her true intensions for the Tarth knight became clear, however, when on the road back to Bronzegate, at an inn on the kingsroad, she ordered Simon to part ways with her and return to Evenfall Hall, accompanied by her second sworn sword, Ser Alvyn of the Kingswood. Whilst initially angered by the deception, Simon agreed to Jeyne's plan of sending him off when he learned it was to fabricate the release of Galladon.
